Our highly professional and vibrant staff can help people accused with all crimes varying from motoring offences in the Magistrates' Court to the most serious criminal offences in the Crown Court, Courts Martial and the most serious parole hearings.

They are also well aware that being charged with even a minor offence can be distressing, both as an experience and because of the consequences. Our aim is to vigorously defend your rights from the start and then continue to help you obtain the best possible outcome.

We believe that everyone accused of a crime has the right to a strong, committed defence and we operate a 24-hour emergency service 365 days a year, to ensure that our clients are properly represented in police custody and receive the proper advice and explanation of the law.

The department is approved by the Legal Services Commission, which means that we can offer free advice and representation under the Legal Aid scheme at the police station to all and in court to those who are eligible. If you are not eligible for Legal Aid in court, we also offer very competitive rates for private clients.
