Amy Burgess - Caseworker
Work and Clients
Amy is a caseworker at Cooper Rollason, working in the Crown Court and the Appeals and Reviews Department. Her role involves liaising with Counsel, Courts, Prisons and the Criminal Complaints Review Commission in addition to maintaining effective case progression.
Education and Experience
Amy grew up in Stoke on Trent and studied for her law degree at Keele University where she achieved an upper second class honours degree in Law and Criminology. She completed the Legal Practice Course in 2008 at Staffordshire Law School where she attained a commendation. Amy is currently in the final stages of completing a masters degree in Legal Practice.
Prior to joining the firm Amy undertook voluntary work as an Adviser at Stoke on Trent Citizens Advice Bureau, where she provided advice and assistance to clients in all aspects of law.
Interests
Outside of work Amy enjoys going to the gym, socialising with friends and eating out. Amy’s sporting interest is swimming. She has achieved awards up to Honours level and has taken part in various competitions representing Staffordshire.
